Section 30 Teaching Council Act

The Minister for Education and Skills, Ruairi Quinn, TD, has announced that Section 30 of the Teaching Council Act 2001 will commence on 1 November 2013.

After 1 November 2013, when Section 30 is commenced, teachers employed in State-funded positions in recoognised schools will have to be registered with the Teaching Council in order to paid from State funds.
