Enactment of Ombudsman (Amendment) Act 2012

From 1st May 2013, the Office of the Ombudsman will be empowered to examine complaints arising from any action taken  by ETBs in the performance of administrative functions. The Ombudsman will only deal with a complaint after it has first been dealt with through the internal complaints system of the ETB.

Laois & Offaly ETB is committed to providing you with a high quality service. However, we recognise that mistakes or delays will occasionally occur. If you are not satisfied with our service, please let us know so that we can work to improve them. A complaint can be made in person, by telephone, by fax, in writing, or by email. The complaint will then be brought to the attention of staff in the relevant department / centre, who will try to resolve your complaint without delay. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of the complaints procedure, you may request an examination of your complaint by the Office of the Ombudsman.
