Applied Science (Laboratory Techniques)  (5M3807)

Location: Tullamore Further Education and Training Centre

This is a foundation course for students who wish to pursue further studies in Science, or who require a Science subject or Mathematics to progress to third level education.

Duration: One year full time, September 2016 - May 2017, 4 days per week (Monday - Thursday 9.30am - 3.30pm)

Entry Requirements

Leaving Certificate or equivalent standard of education
All applicants must attend for interview and online assessment to determine suitability for programme.

€200 PLC Government Levy (some exemptions apply)
€200 Registration Fee
  €50 QQI Certification Fee (some exemptions apply)

Progression Options

On successful completion of this programme, students can apply to third level institutions under the Higher Education Links Scheme or as a mature student.
